A Brief History

Gauthier Soils Ltd. opened as Gauthier Bros. in 1964. It was owned and operated by brothers Rene and Charlie Gauthier. At that time the company had two trucks and two loaders. It took the hard work of two generations to expand Gauthier Soils Ltd. into what it is today.

In 1990, Darrin Gauthier and Rene Gauthier bought and re-organized the company. It then re-opened as Gauthier Soils Ltd. Today the company has about 25 employees, and over 20 trucks & 10 loaders in its fleet to serve you.

At Gauthier Soils Ltd. we are passionate about making quality products. In fact, 90% of the products we sell, we manufacture. Whether it is excavating earth & rock, screening soil mixtures, crushing raw materials, loading & hauling, or delivering our products to you, we take pride in each phase of manufacturing and thank you for choosing us.
