LIMESTONE
All limestone is off white in color.
Down
1/4" Down
This size of limestone is made up of really fine pieces of crushed rock with a powdery substance. The powder makes it pack really well when wet and turns hard, similar to concrete, once dry. It is used mainly for leveling patio blocks, base of sheds or garages, pathways and fence post installations
3/4" Down
This size of limestone packs hard similar to 1/4" Down, but is more all-purpose. It is used on driveways, walkways or parking pads. It can also be used for fence posts and any type of base. It is good for under new cement and under decks if you want the water to run off not through.
2" Down
This size of Limestone is coarse and packs hard. It is generally used for a driveway base

Clean
3/4" Clean
This is 3/4" pieces of loose clean crushed limestone rock. It will not pack. Rather, it stays loose providing more drainage. It is used for filling in under decks, if you want the water to run through, around the house or topping up an existing driveway. It can also be used as a decorative stone but the lime is not safe to use around trees, plants or flowers.
1" Clean
Consists of 1" pieces of loose clean crushed limestone rock. It is good for areas that require good drainage and is used for the same purposes as 3/4" Clean.
2" Clean
Similar to 1" Clean, but is considered a more decorative stone by some.
